PRESS RELEASE – For Immediate Release

Totally Kids Daycare has just launched a 50/50 lottery campaign that could be worth up to $50,000.00 to one lucky winner!

Dawn-Thomas-Cameron, former Green Party candidate in Indian Head for this upcoming provincial election, is announcing two major fundraisers for Totally Kids Daycare Inc. – a charity she founded a year ago to address this provinces lack of quality daycare spaces.

The first is a 50/50 campaign that will run from now until April 15, which will see one lucky winner walk away with up to $50,000.00.

The second is in partnership with Applebee’s; their 1500th Flapjack Fundraiser complete with silent auction, face-painting and, of course, 50/50 tickets available for purchase – on February 6th. You can purchase tickets and/or volunteer to help a great community cause on the organizations website –

In 2014, Dawn came back from a week long Prairie School for Union Women with disheartening information – that only 12% of children 5 and under in Saskatchewan had access to quality, affordable daycare. Since then her community focus has been on creating Totally Kids Daycare Inc., a CRA registered charity, to help create more spaces in Regina.

“We are dedicated to creating a ‘green’ child-care facility that embraces a love of learning, community and the environment. One in which we can work towards a zero-waste facility powered by renewable energy sources. Helping to create safe learning environments for our youth should be one of our provinces top priorities. The children are our future. Leasing and renovating our first space is our own top priority. These fundraisers will be the key that opens the door to desperately needed child-care spaces in our city.”
